Stratus
Stratus provides mobility, accessibility, comfort and independent living solutions for those experiencing health-related conditions resulting from injury, accident, disability or recovery from surgery.
This project was from the ground up, and included naming the company, creating the tagline, writing the copy, creating the value proposition and the voice of the brand. The end deliverables were an 8-page brochure, logo and brand style guide, data sheets, business cards, letterhead and envelope and a complete website.
This complete startup package enabled the team at Stratus to begin their sales and marketing campaign and develop a new audience of private pay clients.

MGH CPE
Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Performance Excellence consults with health care organizations to design, implement, and execute organizational transformation strategies and achieve dramatically improved performance. These strategies include comprehensive assessments based on the Baldrige Health Care Criteria for Performance Excellence, improvement of key leadership and management processes, and leadership coaching and support.
After completing an insightful TPCS Discovery for MGH CPE, the client and I learned that their existing customers regarded their relationship and personalized commitment as a crucial factor in the success of their process improvement. This, as well as other distinguishing team behavior, enabled me to write much richer copy for their website redesign. As a result, MGH CPE now clearly presents their promise and value to prospects as they are vetted through the redesigned website.
Local Motion of Boston
Local Motion of Boston provides group bus transportation in the Greater Boston area. Charter a motor coach, mini-coach, van, or shuttle bus for business travel or group tours. They came to me wanting to expand their dated and content-light website as well as help the position themselves more professionally, which they believed was a better match for their performance.
Through the inverviews and research of a TPCS Discovery, the company realized they were providing high-level concierge transportation service, had rich relationships with existing customers, and strong brand recognition in their market. To take the growing company to the next level, I reorganized and wrote new copy to reflect the level of commitment and detail they provide to their customers. This entailed an increase of thirty pages to their new content architecture, more photos and a stronger feel of the geographical region they served.
Since the site's launch, traffic quality has improved and customer feedback on the redesign was well received. In addition, the time to convert new customers was reduced because the new content offered more helpful information which created clearer expectations and a more educated customer.

Strategy Management Systems
Strategy Management Systems provides customized strategy consulting services to companies needing improved strategic performance. The president of the company and I discussed his vision, his models and promise to the targeted business segments. To meet SMS's objective, I saw the most effective path was to be direct, yet simple, in conveying their promise and approach to solid strategic direction advice for businesses.
The website is poised for extended growth with a basic foundation that provides clear content and contact information.
Ed Barrows
Ed Barrows is a professional strategy consultant and professor, teaching business strategy and performance improvement. After conducting a TPCS Discovery with Ed, I clearly saw that his most distinguishing asset was his ability to coach and educate with clarity, precision and practical advice for businesses.
I wrote copy and redesigned his website so it presented his helpful content and resources in an easy-to-assimilate manner. In addition, we clarified his value and promise to new prospects. Since the redesign launched, I continue to help Ed with his e-Newsletter and website updates as well as other marketing communications.

eQuipSellsIt.com
The eQuipSellsIt.com site was an interesting site to design because it was the first site I had to consider the back end first. We used Geodesics classified software on the back end, with some very creative patchwork programming done with the help of Stand Vertical. I provided art direction and mockups that fit the Geodesic framework. What we ended up with was a functional and cool-looking branded heavy equipment classified ad site. Go eQuip!
Rasmussen/Gonzaga University Online
I've had the pleasure of working on several Web design projects for Rasmussen College, and Gonzaga was one of them. This site had a specific audience of online students and the curriculum and content was already created as the site was a redesign. I used a Spry navigation, CSS2 and xhtml to code the 40-plus page site. The client had a few design changes, but overall the design was a strong success that fell in step with the well-established Gonzaga University brand.

Roy Barnes
Roy Barnes asked me to help him redesign and remessage his web presence. His company, Blue Space Consulting, was what he wanted redesigned. After several discussions and a TPCS Discovery, I helped Roy distinguish his greatest value: his ability to create possibility through professional speaking engagements and seminars. A master speaker, Roy can inspire and create clarity to the most befuddled business or layperson.
We moved Roy out in front of his company as Roy Barnes: Unleashing Possibility. The redesigned and rewritten website positions Roy as the powerful speaker and business change manager that he is, whether it's a more focused strategy or inspiration to improve customer-relationships.
Godfrey Design Consultants, Inc.
The Godfrey website is constantly growing, and initially this site was a redesign, taking a dated site built using FrontPage (groan) and converting it out of frames to an xhtml and CSS, search engine optimized site. The overflowing photo gallery was a stretch in photo management, but we achieved a scalable solution using javascript. Using Google Analytics, we've been able to position the organic rankings of Godfrey Design in the top five results for more than a dozen geographic- and industry-specific key search phrases. The website is a powerful vehicle for prospective clients to vet Godfrey and preview some of their award-winning work.
At Peace Hospice Care
At Peace Hospice Care website was designed to tie into their print campaign, reusing the FOCUS marketing message and the leaf motif. The site was also designed to be easy to navigate and read, with large text and clear navigation.
The site content also includes interactive forms for volunteers, donations and employment opportunities.
