Where are you now?

When it comes to email, it’s a solopreneur’s connection to the two R’s: relationships and revenue. If you are not regularly, consistently emailing your list of prospective clients, you need to drop everything right now and get that going.

For this workshop, however, I want to use my Better3 Website Maturity Model to help you figure out where you need to be regarding your email automation.

For each stage, you should have the following milestones regarding email:

  • Stage 1: An email service set up to legitimately send email from your company domain (terry@better3.com for example).

  • Stage 2: You should have a simple opt-in on your website so you can capture names and email addresses in exchange for valuable content for prospects.

  • Stage 3: Your first automation to deliver your freebie/lead magnet with a follow-up nurture series.

  • Stage 4: Segmentation based on your audience’s behavior, choices, and opt-ins so you can send more customized content.

  • Stage 5: Automation that delivers onboarding series, follow-ups, reminders and specific, repeated content that facilitates memberships, subscriptions, referrals or client engagements.

You can also use the Website Maturity Model to “water test” your website and create a list of action items to move from one stage to the next.🍀
